A Physio's perspective: 3 tips BEFORE you head back to the Gym (INJURY PREVENTION)


 

With Markham, Richmond Hill, and GTA heading into red zone last week, Gyms are open again!


Large changes in training intensity/frequency can lead to injury. These are my top 3 tips for preventing injury as we head back to the Gyms! Good for anyone returning to exercise after a long layoff, those starting a new workout routine, and even those starting a new sport. Also, I provide an update on the latest COVID restrictions for Gyms in Markham, Ontario.
